Players must respond to the email sent out 2 weeks prior to each tournament in order to be included in that tournament.
On the day of any tournament, all participating members must immediately check-in upon arrival at course regardless of whether fees already paid or not.
Members that call in for a tournament by email and do not show up on the day of the tournament or provide a replacement player will be charged for that tournament. NO EXCEPTIONS as the club will be charged for no-shows.
Each tournament for 2025 season will have two prize paying categories as follows:
1. 0-15 handicap
2. 16 and above
Each tournament will have competitions for Closest-to-the-Pin on all par 3’s
Race to Harding is a year long competition based on Stableford scores. A player’s 10 best scores out of 12 are counted. This year we will have two brackets for the RTH.
0 - 15 and 16 and up. There will be a trophy and equal prize money for both brackets.
Singles Matchplay
The first three tournaments of the year (Jan., Feb., Mar.) will be qualifying tournament for singles matchplay. To qualifiy for the singles matchplay the top 32 players with the best 2 stableford scores from the first three rounds will qualifiy for the singles matchplay. Singles matchplay will start in April and the final will be played in August
All qualifiers for matchplay must attend first round of matchplay tournament (April tournament).
When singles matchplay begins, players may only miss one tournament in the competition.
Doubles Matchplay
Qualification for doubles matchplay will be decided from 32 best cumulative Stableford scores of 5 of first 6 tournaments from January through June.
Doubles matchplay will commence at the September tournament.
All doubles matchplay matches must be played on the day of a tournament. NO MAKE-UP MATCHES ALLOWED.
In the case of one player missing on day of tournament, match can go ahead with one player.

Shamrock Golf Club is managed by a volunteer committee and requires a considerable time commitment. The Committee has grown the club to be all-inclusive and accommodate all levels of golfer. The goal is to provide access to people to play golf in a friendly and social environment and foster a community of like-minded people who can enjoy the game of golf.
The Committee encourages every player to make an effort to attend the AGM as our club is only as good as it’s members.
